MARBLE RUSH Alpha

32 marbles. 8 players. One big screen.
You steer left and right — gravity does the rest.

Start here

Open the race →

Put this on the biggest screen in the room. It shows a four-letter code and the whole race. Nobody to play with? Hit Watch a race and 32 marbles run it on their own — pick a colour and cheer.

Then, on each phone

Join a race →

Type the code, pick a name, take a marble. Left, right, and one boost button.

Build your own

Track editor →

Draw a course, generate switchbacks, trace one from a video, test-drive it, then send it to the race screen.

Building a track

  1. Open the track editor. Pick Load built-in… to start from a course that ships with the game, or New.
  2. Drag control points in the viewport. The strip along the bottom validates the course live — Send to race and Save stay blocked while it reports errors.
  3. Tools → Switchbacks generates a hairpin stack; Auto-bank banks the turns for the speed marbles actually arrive at.
  4. Tools → Reference footage takes a video or screenshot of a real marble run and pins a frame behind the track so you can trace it.
  5. Press T to test-drive it, then ▶ Send to race. It appears in the track dropdown on the race screen.

How a race works

  1. Open the race on a TV, laptop or phone. It shows a code like BRKT and a QR.
  2. In a hurry, or on your own? Watch a race starts one with nobody steering.
  3. Everyone opens join on their phone and types those four letters.
  4. Tap READY. The host taps START. 3 — 2 — 1 — DROP.
  5. Steer across the track. You can't speed up or slow down — only pick your line, and spend your two boosts.
  6. You get a team of four marbles in one colour. Your best one scores; tap switch to take over the leader of your set.
  7. Between heats the host picks New heat to keep the standings, or New game to reset them.

Alpha, and honest about it. Out of the box the phones have to be on the same device as the race screen (a second browser window works) — that's the zero-setup mode. Real phones-across-the-room play needs a relay or the local server; both ship with the source and take one command. See the README in the repo.
