Boss Draw

One screen on the TV. Everyone's phone is a pencil. Draw the secret word, and race to be the first to shout it out — 2 to 8 players, three rounds, everybody draws.

How it works

  1. Open Start a room on the biggest screen you have — a TV, a laptop, a tablet.
  2. Everyone else scans the QR code with their phone, or types the four-letter room code.
  3. One player gets three secret words and picks one. They draw it with their finger; it appears on the big screen for everyone.
  4. Everyone else types guesses. The faster you get it, the more you score — and the drawer scores for every person who works it out.
  5. Everyone draws once per round. After three rounds, there's a podium.

What's in it

Everyone draws

Turns rotate every round, so nobody spends the night just guessing.

Hints that tick in

Letters reveal as the clock runs down — never more than half.

"Close!" nudges

One letter off? You'll be told, and only you.

Your own words

Paste a custom word list for inside jokes. It never leaves the room.

Two word banks

Party classics, plus a Final Boss pack of quests, bosses and dungeons.

Drop in, drop out

Late arrivals see the drawing so far and can score on the same turn.

Private rooms only. There is no public lobby and no way to join a stranger's game — you play with people you invited. Drawings are never saved, uploaded, or shared; they live on the host's screen and disappear when the room closes. The host can remove anyone at any time, including mid-drawing.

Questions

How many people can play?

Two to eight. You need at least two to start, and everyone needs their own phone or a second browser tab.

Do we need to install anything?

No. The big screen opens one page and the phones open another. There is no app and no account.

Can we play if we're not in the same room?

This version is built for one room with one shared screen — the TV is what everybody looks at. Playing from different houses is on the list, but it isn't here yet.

Can I use my own words?

Yes. In the room settings on the big screen, paste a list of custom words. They replace the standard bank for that room only, they're filtered for language, and they're never saved anywhere.

What happens if someone leaves in the middle?

The game keeps going. If the person drawing disconnects, their turn ends immediately instead of running out the clock. Anyone who reconnects gets their seat and score back.

How does scoring work?

Guessers earn more for guessing sooner, plus a small bonus for being first. The drawer scores in proportion to how many people got it — and nothing at all if nobody does.
