A writer ponders
There's a small comedy tucked into the tenderness here. Glasses pushed up on a forehead is such a specific, unglamorous gesture — the eyes rubbed, the middle distance stared into — and it sits right next to something as vast as worlds flowing from fingertips. That gap between the physical and the imagined is where the poem lives. Nothing about a writer typing looks like creation from the outside; B1ndas lets us feel the mismatch and then closes it in the final line, naming the ordinary figure behind the god-like verb.
The mood is quiet, almost domestic, more midnight desk lamp than dramatic muse. No season markers, just the hush of concentration. What the compression achieves is trust — it hands you the forehead and the fingertips and lets you supply the tiredness, the flow state, the whole unglamorous ritual of making something out of nothing.
