Today's puzzle:
Today's floor is the Four Halls, on dungeon level 3. Four halls on a corridor, and whatever hangs above and below them. Everyone who plays today gets this same floor.
Daily Dungeon is a small turn-based roguelike with one floor a day, the same floor for every player. You are a low-level adventurer with a limited supply of turns, and the way down is a staircase somewhere beyond the monsters. Every step counts, so the puzzle is deciding what is worth fighting for and what is worth walking around.
How to play
- Move with the arrow keys or the on-screen pad. Every step is one turn.
- Bump into a monster to fight it. Better weapons and armor you find are worth picking up.
- You tire as turns pass, and tiredness never refills, so wandering has a price.
- Find the stair to finish the floor. Treasure and objectives along the way add to your score.
- If you fall, the floor resets and you try again, so scout before you commit.

Common questions
Is the dungeon the same for everyone?
Yes. The floor is generated from the date, so every player gets identical rooms, monsters and treasure on the same day, and your score is comparable with everyone else's. A new floor forms at midnight Pacific time.
Do the floors look different from day to day?
They do. Some days are the Four Halls, others the Deep Mines, the Great Cavern, the Maze or the Boulder Vault, each with its own shape and its own trick. The theme for today is listed at the top of this page.
Do I need an account to play?
No. It is free and runs in your browser on a phone or a computer. Signing in is optional and only saves your streak and puts your score on the daily board.
