About these puzzles

These change every morning. Five fresh printables a day — today’s whole pack, today’s word search, today’s crossword, today’s anagram puzzle and today’s logic puzzle. Every one of them comes with its answers.

Each button opens the sheets already typeset large, with a Print button on the page. If you would rather keep the file than print it now, press Print and choose Save as PDF where the print box asks where to send it.

Printables first, because that is usually what people are here for. These are sheets you send to a home printer on ordinary paper — the puzzle laid out large, with its answer key.

If you would rather not print anything, the same puzzles play right here in big type. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.

This page is set in large print. Not a setting you have to find first — it is how the page arrives, and the puzzles you open from it arrive the same way. Everything below is free.

There are two ways to use it. Print the sheets and solve them at a table with a pen, or play the same puzzles on the screen you are reading this on. Neither one costs anything, and neither one asks who you are.

What this is, in plain words

  • No ads. Nothing flashes, nothing pops up, and no video starts on its own. There is no advertising anywhere on this site.
  • No download needed to play. The puzzles below run inside the browser you already have open. There is nothing to install, and no app store to visit.
  • Large print. The type on this page is already enlarged, and so is every puzzle you open from it. The letters are bigger and the strokes are heavier, which matters more than size alone.
  • With answers. Every sheet you print carries its answer key with it, so you can check yourself without going looking for a second page.
  • To play alone. There is no opponent, no room to join and nobody waiting on a turn. You can stop in the middle and come back.
  • No sign up. No account, no email address, no password. Signing in exists only if you want a streak saved, and nothing here needs it.

Other ways to play

Two of our daily puzzles have their own large-print home: the large print word search and the large print crossword, both new every morning. Practice mode gives you unlimited word and chess puzzles with no clock at all, and the archive keeps every past day playable.

Common questions

How large is the large print?

Puzzle letters roughly double, up to about 42 pixels, and thicken to a heavier weight — stroke weight helps more than size alone does. Everything around the puzzle scales with it: the clues, the words to find, the buttons and the small labels underneath. A puzzle that enlarges the grid and leaves the labels tiny has not really been made readable.

Do I have to buy a puzzle book?

No. Everything in this section is free, and there is no paid tier holding better puzzles back. If you want paper, you print it yourself; if you want to play on a screen, you open it and play.

Will it stay in large print?

These pages are in large print every time you arrive, because that is what they are for. If you turn large print on with the button, the choice is saved on that device and applies across the whole site. Turning it off is the same button.

Does it work on a tablet?

Yes, and a tablet is the easiest device for it — a big screen held close, with tap targets sized for a hand that is not perfectly steady. It works the same on a phone, a laptop or a desktop monitor.
