Free Seasonal Word Searches
Every page here prints the same all year round.

Every puzzle in this section is built the same way: a famous piece of seasonal writing is the answer, and the words hidden in the grid are its missing words. Find them all and you have the whole passage — Clement Moore's night before Christmas, Keats on the season of mists, Shakespeare's witches at their cauldron. It is a better souvenir than a list of decorations.
All of it is free. Print as many copies as you like for a classroom, a care home, a party or a kitchen table, with the answer key on the back, or press Play and solve it in the browser on a phone or a laptop. There is no account, no email wall and no watermark.
Every quote is public domain, and we record why for each one rather than simply asserting it: the author, the work, the year, the page it was read from, and the reasoning behind the copyright conclusion all live alongside the text. A separate, second check records that the passage is family-safe, because an old text being free to reprint says nothing at all about whether it is suitable for a classroom.
Looking for something for today rather than for the season? The daily printable pack collects the day's puzzles onto paper, and the games index lists everything playable here.
