A question like that can land so many ways, depending on who's asking and who's answering. Maybe it's literal — an older sibling with a hang glider license, a pilot parent finally saying yes, the mechanics of flight turned into a scene about trust and controlled risk. Maybe it's smaller and stranger: a kid who genuinely believes flight is possible, and the adult has to decide whether to correct that faith or borrow it for an afternoon, arms out on a hilltop, pretending hard enough that it almost works. Or take it somewhere quieter — someone asking a grandparent who once wanted to be a pilot and never got the chance, so the answer becomes a story instead of a lesson. Start with who's asking, why now, and what "flying" would actually mean if the wish came true.
