To write a haiku

There's a nice little trap set here: a haiku announcing its own attempt to write a haiku, then folding in on itself before it finishes the thought. The turn happens right at "makes" — the line break stalls you mid-sentence, so the syllable count itself performs the spiraling it describes. That's the joke and the craft move in one gesture. No season word, no cherry blossoms or frost, because the mood here is purely mental weather — the small vertigo of trying to describe a form while trapped inside its own rules. Seventeen syllables isn't much room, yet it's enough to stage a tiny infinite regress, like two mirrors facing each other. The compression works because it doesn't explain the spiral, it just hands you the shape of one and lets your eye walk the loop again on the second pass, this time slower.
